Best Edition Ridgeline: A Novel with FREE EASY Reading!

Michael Punke has done a great job here with this meticulously researched tragedy of the Fetterman massacre. The beginning of Red Cloud's war against the encroaching whites and the US Army which galvanized the tribes, the Lakota, Cheyenne and Arapaho into coming together to defend themselves and their lands. The outcome, both now and later, is never at question, but Punke weaves a masterful tale of the individuals, both winner and loser, and their motives and emotions that make this an outstanding novel. Highly recommended.
